You're A Big Hit

My friend Stiffy sent me this link to a web site that will tell you the number one song on the day you were born: http://www.joshhosler.biz/NumberOneInHistory/SelectMonth.htm.

Mine is "I Get Around" by the Beach Boys.

Round, round, get around, I get a round waist from sitting in the car for 4 hours a day.

Yes, that's my song.

"Theme from a Summer Place" by Percy Faith
I thought I had never heard of it until I listened on U-tube, it's a common tune usually played by an orchestra. Really pretty, so I am not so bumbed.
Ellie, I think it was a movie, racking my brain here...but it WAS sung by the Flying Nun!
Hey Only Daughter - Thanks for the visit! I remember that one but I have not heard it in years.
Thank you for stopping by and for the mention of the 80's photo Dykewife! My sister had wrist surgery but it was for a break. She took a spill on some ice.
Oh Ms Creek - I thought you meant the Flying Nun (Sally Field). LOL. Thanks for the youtube link so I could figure this out.
I like that song Rubye Jean! That was played in the movie Animal House I think while they were in the supermarket stealing meat. Really, I'm not making that up.

We Can Work It Out - The Beatles

I must say I liked all of the songs for the first four decades and it would make a fabulous CD!

"Why?" by Frankie Avalon

(Figures..) Teehee!
Hi Inidigo - thanks for visiting! I think it's interesting to see the references to all these songs, most of which I have heard, but none that I can really pin down what year they would have been popular.
Hey Shrinky - Inquiring minds want to know.
