A Tisket, A Tasket, My Friend Stiffy's Basket

Stiffy, you know I love you. But I can't hold back from commenting on this thing I found last week,neatly tucked away in the corner of your bedroom.

At first glance I thought it was a cleaning supply caddy, gaily decorated with a strip of pink fur and some groovy day-glo daisy stickers. As if that were not bad enough, further inspection revealed several bottles of pink and frosty nail polish, a giant emery board, and what I believe to be something to keep your toes spread eagle while you happily sip red wine and pretty up your feet. I'll give you kudos for that gadget,despite the pink color, as it was in the shape of little martini glasses. But really Stiffy, this is just too girly girl, even for you. Now go put that thing away in the back of your closet behind your yellow sun dress.

I am so buying you some motorcycle boots for you next birthday.

Ok Sassy, I admit it is kind of cute and a good way to organize things. I wonder what I could use it for? Not polish, that's for sure.

Well Chewy, her full nick-name is Stiffy One-Two. One-Two is for the size of her pants. Stiffy is for the way she used to act stiff around all her new found lesbian friends. She has come around though and even hugs us back!

Those flowers do stand out don't they Rubye Jean. They complete the look.

I'm ok with a little pink Cristina, as long as there is some white thrown in there too. And maybe some blue. Do you have a famous pink drink recipe you would like to share?

Here's an interesting texting typo I created last week: And if airline seats get any smaller, I can see this being an actual problem. Can you imagine? I'm sorry ma'am, but there is no way both of you can seat in one seat. You will have to purchase an additional ticket for "her". What would happen then? Would she want the window or middle seat? Commuting Tips - How to Make The Drive More Fun

Today is Saturday, which means I get a break from driving to my job in Boston. I love what I do and I honestly don't hate my commute. By the end of the week however, I can get fairly tired from the trip. So, in order to stay sharp on my drive, I've adopted the following strategy to make things more fun,interesting and bearable. Talk on the phone. Talk a lot. And don't use your blue-tooth wireless set up either. It's more challenging getting in and out of Boston if you have one hand on the wheel and one up to your ear. Send text messages. Nothing says 'I love you' like a text message sent from a friend while navigating bumper to bumper traffic on the Mass Pike. My preferred technique - look down and type, look up for a quick lane check, back down again to type. Scan the newspaper.
