Random and weird?

I was tagged for a meme by J at Mid Life Clarity (a great read by the way). I've been thinking about this one. I may have posted a similar list like this at one time, but it's been while. So here goes:

Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog.

* Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog - some random, some weird.

* Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blog.

* Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.1.

1. I spend a work day and a half (based on an 8 hour day) in the car commuting to work three days a week. I've pretty much decided that 4 hours a day in the car isn't worth the toll it is taking (and the tolls I'm paying) .

2. Watches are probably my favorite type of jewelery and I spend too much money on them.

3. I threw up cream of mushroom soup on the desk in kindergarten and have not been able to eat it since.

4. Northampton is one of my favorite towns in the United States. London is probably my favorite city outside of this country.

5. I love books but am very bad about actually finishing one.

6. The best vacation I ever took was going to Hawaii for two weeks.

7. I never throw anything away. I still have notes from study hall when I was a freshman in high school back in 1978.

I am tagging McMeaty because he has a new blog and I think he needs to be tagged. I apologize for breaking the rules and only tagging one person but I need to attend to some house chores before the Patriots game. Happy Sunday!

i got nasty sick on cherries during cherry harvest season in bc. i've not been able to eat them since either...not in any form except the tacky maraschino cherries in christmas fruit cake and really tacky drinks.
Hey Ms. Creek! I can still remember standing at that desk, hoping nobody would notice, LOL. Hope you had a great weekend!

I think I have about a dozen that I like OC. I don't wear all of them on a regular basis, probably only about 3 or 4. And I have my eye set on one more....

Ohhh getting sick on cherries sounds awful. That is defintely worse than cream of mushroom soup Dykewife. I'm surprised you can still eat the maraschino ones.

I like the Fossil brand watches. Timex watches are usually a deal at the Big E. I have about seven watches.

I don't believe in watches - I own one, but never wear it. I look at my wrist and say, "It's Martini time somewhere."

I reckon Northampton in the States is somewhat different from Northampton over here in the UK!!!

But agree about London- it's an amazing city and I feel so lucky to live here

Hey TwoLadies - I like sushi but there's always a fine line with that between yumm and yuck.

I like the Fossil watches too Chewy. I don't have any of those (yet) but I'm thinking I need to add one to my collection.

Ok Rubye Jean, how do I get Ms. Creek to spill the beans (or the soup in this case)?

I like you more and more with every comment Cristina. And "somewhere" just happens to be where I am.

Hey Butch Boo! I went to London about 10 years ago and loved it. What a fun city. The people their were just wonderful - friendly and great to talk to. And the history is just so interesting to me.

I threw up over my uncles knee at age five after taking a toke on his cigar, never took to them since, either.

LONDON??? You like London, England? Hell girl, I still have a place there, give me a shout next time you want to come over (give some notice tho', 'cos I have a sweet little librarian renting out the spare room, and she scares easy..)
